Our Mission

To form a connection between the community and farmer through growing and marketing delicious pastured pork and organic grains. We are fostering a bright future for agriculture by demonstrating the importance of supporting young farmers in inheriting an aging industry.

Berkshire Pork

Our hogs roam across vibrant pastures - the way it has been done for generations. We rotate them through a series of paddocks with grain crops in the summer and provide dry barns and outdoor access in the winter. They are fed certified organic barley, wheat, and peas that are grown and milled directly on our farm. Our hogs are born right here on our farm in humane farrowing conditions.

Cropping

We grow certified organic field peas, barley, wheat, and triticale -  for feeding our livestock, providing feed to local farms, and producing our seed. All our animals eat our grains.

We are a Certified Organic Crop Producer - these rules prohibit the use of synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, and GMOs. We have currently chosen for a myriad of reasons not to certify our livestock as organic.

Soil is the key to ecosystem vitality. That is why we grow our crops in rotation, practice regenerative agriculture, and manage for species diversity.
